Merry Christmas!

Far, Far away in the middle of corn and soybeans
Is our family living within our means.
Iowa has been loads of fun
Our little family has grown closer tons
A year full of growing, laughing, and learning,
Here are some facts you’ve been yearning

Devin is in Physician Assistant school
Stressed to the max, but keeping his cool
Pediatrics he has really liked
But not obstetrics, yikes!
We are so proud of his hard work
He’s a good husband and dad, doesn’t shurk

Andrea is trying to keep up
Her wisdom teeth must come out… yuck!
Cleaning, crafting, cooking, cuddling
Her life she wouldn’t trade for nothing
Hands are full you aren’t joking, honey!
But she’s so glad her hands aren’t empty

Mckenna is already 3
Oh my, how can that be?
She knows all letters and their sounds
Like a sponge she soaks up mounds
She asks Who? What? Where? Why?
She even knows when you lie

Brielle is in her 6th month
Becoming quite the chunk
Loves her sister dear
Though might be a little scared of her I fear
We love her a bunch
And can’t imagine life without our little munch.

Our time in Iowa is close to its end
We are sad to go and will miss our friends
Closer to our family we hope to move
Where we will go, this summer we’ll choose.
