Bike Ride

We have just been enjoying the summer weather.  And yes, Brielle loves those sunglasses! :) She wears them wherever we go.

We went on a family bike ride to the park. I'm sure our family was quite the sight! Mckenna was on her bike with training wheels. Devin rode his bike pulling Brielle in the bike trailer. And I jogged with Evelyn in the jogging stroller. We were quite the caravan!

Lazy Days

I'm loving that we can have lazy days here and there and all snuggle in the same bed. These girls are my world!

Lou Lou

We started calling Evelyn, Evelou... and that got shortened to Lou Lou. She's really getting too big, too fast. This is a daily occurance, finding Mckenna reading books to Evelyn. It makes me happy every time.

If Mckenna's not reading books to Evelyn, then Brielle is cuddling with Evelyn. Or sometimes, Evelyn gets to be cuddled with and read to at the same time.

She is pretty good at making faces :)

She does pretty good with tummy time. Her neck is getting strong.

 

Thanks to our photographer, Mckenna, I actually have some pictures of me with this sweet baby... even if her tongue is sticking out.

Fishing

Devin took Mckenna and Brielle fishing. They had been dying to go for a while, so they were pretty excited.

Their trip wasn't too successful as far as fishing goes. But they still had a great time.

3 Months

How can Evelyn be 3 months already?

Evelyn is still pretty serious :). She doesn't smile very often. But she smiles best for her sisters.

 

She is our biggest child so far. She's growing too fast.

Playhouse

So Brielle's birthday present from us was a little playhouse. The girls had a good time playing in it and planting flowers in the flower boxes. A few daddy long legs found it a nice home too :). Mckenna and Brielle were determined to kick the spiders out, so they got their squirt guns and started a war!

We spend many summer afternoons eating lunch in the house. I am usually the "waitress" serving their food :)

Idaho Trip

Devin went on a week-long 50 mile hike with the young men in the ward. So, the girls decided to go to Idaho Falls to be with grandmas and grandpas. Our good friends moved to Pocatello a few months ago, so we took the opportunity to spend some time with them too. It was nice to get together with the Conovers. We wish that we could be neighbors again... maybe someday :)

And Evelyn met her new friend, Xander. They are about 2 weeks apart!

Saw this sweet scene when I went to bed one night. I'm so glad these girls have eachother.

 

While Devin was on his hike, he had a mishap and had to use his medical skills. He brought some lidocaine with him on the trip, but decided he better save it just in case one of the boys needed it. So, he bravely gave himself some stitches. I can't imagine how bad that must have hurt. The boys all came home with a good story though! 

 

Devin turned the big 3-0!! On his actual birthday, he was hiking with the young men. So we arranged for a birthday celebration to be brought up to him in the mountains from a man in the bishopric that drives a helicopter. His sweet wife put it all together for me since we went to Idaho while he was gone. But, we still had a little celebration once we were all together again.
