The Return of the Chicken

Remember this???

The famous chicken has returned! We were in the process of closing on our house in October, and I didn't quite get to making a new costume for Brielle, poor girl! Good thing she loves hand-me-downs :). (Though I don't know how much longer that old costume will last. We left a trail of feathers everywhere we went)

The chicken costume did not disappoint! It's so fun to see strangers pass by and smile as they see our silly chickens.  Brielle even made it into our local newspaper!

Mckenna is loving the Tangled movie and wanted to be Rapunzel. Her favorite part was the long hair that she got to wear.

Devin had to work late on Halloween. So the girls and I braved the Baker Main Street trick or treating. We also stopped by Devin's work to see daddy. Then we went to the ward trunk or treat. Busy night and lots of candy!

Fun in the Sun

Here's a few more pictures of Sun Valley that I forgot about.  Devin was at his conference, so I had big plans to take cute pictures of the girls... my plan TOTALLY failed... haha

The girls had a plan of their own... to not cooperate.  They were both kinda grumpy! This is about as good as I got haha

Sun Valley

In September, Devin had to go to Sun Valley, Idaho for the weekend for a conference.  So, we all decided to come along! Devin's job paid for the gas, hotel, and food... so why not?! :)

Sun Valley is such a beautiful place! However, we did feel a little out of place.  We aren't quite as fancy as the people that live and visit there.  :)  But it was a fun free vacation!

September

We are slowly getting used to our new life here.  We got Mckenna a bike. She is so cautious that she has to go super slow and doesn't like any bumps or rocks in her path.  She loves riding it though. She loves to ride her bike when our neighbors are out so she can show off.

Collins Reunion

In August, all of my siblings and their families were able to get together for a week.  We hadn't all been together for about a year and a half, so it was great to all spend time together again.

6 Years!!

Yes, once again, I am 4 months behind on the blog. But boy, do I have some good excuses for the lack of posts! :) The next few days I'll get caught up again!

Devin and I celebrated our 6 YEAR wedding anniversary! Yes, S-I-X years! It's crazy! It's been a wild ride including six different houses, six moves, three states, two schools, two kids, many learning opportunities, and millions of good memories.

6 years down, forever to go! I can't wait! Love you Devin!
