I guess we aren't so good with this blog thing...but here are a few more pictures. We are doing great! Devin started a job at the Rexburg Nursing Center. In order to apply to PA school, he has to have patient contact experience. He starts applying for schools in May, so this job will give him the hours that he needs. He is keeping busy with work, his church calling, and his classes. I am still on maternity leave and loving it! I am going to run a half marathon this summer, so I am keeping busy training for that. I go back to work the second week in February and I will work one 8-hour shift per week. Mckenna is doing great. She has been sleeping through the night since she was 5 weeks old, so that has been SO nice. She went to the doctor on Monday for her two-month check. She weighed 10 lbs 4 oz which puts her in the 35th percentile, which is a lot better than the 10th percentile she was in a month and a half ago. She is smiling now and continues to be a good, happy baby.

Baby Update

I guess we are due for a baby update. I thought I would have all of this time to update the blog after our baby was born, but it has been the opposite. Every time I sit down on the computer, Mckenna wakes up or starts fussing. But, she is doing great! She is a really good baby. She only wakes up a few times during the night and she sleeps most of the day too. We absolutely love her and hope she won't get too spoiled because we always want to hold her and cuddle with her. But, here are a few more pictures of Mckenna, you can never have enough!

Mckenna has already found her thumb!

Ok... as you can tell we aren't so good about this blog thing. I keep telling myself that we will be a lot better once we actually have something to write about.
As for now, we are still just waiting around for our baby to come. My due date is in about a week, and still nothing it really happening. As of this past week, I am not dilated or anything. Our next doctor's appointment is Monday, so we plan on taking a few long walks before then :). Next week, I am working three 12-hour shifts in a row, so if that doesn't put me in labor, I don't know what will. Our good friends had their baby yesterday and that just makes us more excited and anxious to finally have our own.
As far as being ready for the baby, I think we are pretty much there. I'm sure that their will be many last minute things that come up that we need, but we have the basics. So, if anyone has any tips to get things going... we are open to suggestions! :D But, we will keep you posted a little better in the next couple of days.

...Update...

Well, it looks like we fell behind a bit on our blog. A lot has happened since January.
First of all, Andrea is pregnant! We expect our baby girl around Nov 18th. We are both really excited and can't wait for her to be here.
We had a great summer. We vacationed and partied a lot. We went to San Francisco, Boise twice, and Las Vegas all during the seven weeks that Devin had off from school. We had a great time.
Devin just finished his first week of school for the Fall '08 semester. He expects his classes to be pretty hard, especially BioChemistry. He planned out his semesters and plans to graduate either in July or December of 2009 with his bachelor's degree. From there, he will apply to PA (Physician's Assistant) schools throughout the country to finish his schooling. He is currently the PA society president at BYU-Idaho.
Andrea is still working in Idaho Falls as a registered nurse. She recently transferred to the NICU (newborn intensive care unit). She enjoys the challenge and learning opportunities that the NICU brings. She is counting down the days until our own baby is here and looks forward to the 12 weeks maternity leave from work.
We are loving life!
