First Snow

We finally got our first snow! Mckenna and Brielle had to get all their snow gear on to play in it.

Less than 24 hours later, we got a "real" first snow. Now that is worthy of putting all the snow gear on for!

We couldn't find Evelyn's pacifiers for a day. We did a mass search and found all of them stashed underneath her carseat in the car. She was one happy girl to have all of her pacifiers back!

It's a rare occasion when Mckenna wears jeans! She decided to wear jeans because she wanted to be like Aunt Tara. Mckenna usually wears leggings and skirts because jeans are comfortable. She looks older wearing jeans!

Book It

Mckenna makes sure we read every day so she can get her own personal pan pizza through the Book It program. She feels pretty special having her own pizza.

First Tooth

Mckenna lost her first tooth! It was pretty loose for a few days. But she ended up pulling it out on her own. She thought she needed a lot of TP to contain the blood. :)

Mckenna wrote the tooth fairy a note requesting to leave her tooth there. The next morning, the tooth fairy did not disappoint. That next night, Mckenna told Devin that she wanted to put her tooth under her pillow again so she could get another dollar bill. Devin then told Mckenna about the booger fairy, who comes at night to take your tooth and leave boogers under your pillow. That made Mckenna quickly change her mind about trying to trick the tooth fairy.

Leaves

Every year, we get a huge pile of leaves from the two trees in our front yard. And we always play with them for a few weeks before we bag them up.

Halloween

The older my kids get, the more fun it is to celebrate holidays. Here are our jack o lanterns this year.

I was in charge of Mckenna's kindergarten Halloween party. I made up this bowling game to play with the kids. It was a hit for sure.

The girls wanted to be Frozen characters this year. Mckenna was Elsa, Brielle was Anna, and Evelyn was Olaf. They were so excited, they love to dress up. And their hair was already the perfect color.

Lots of people loved Olaf. Evelyn got the most smiles and comments by far.

Matching Whiz

Brielle and I have some time to spend together since Mckenna is at school in the afternoons. It's nice to be able to spend time with my kids one on one. Brielle loves kiwis and I thought I would let her eat as many as she wanted just to see how many she would eat... She ate 7, which was all that we had.

Brielle is so good at matching games. She beats me every time, and I'm not purposely giving her any slack. She is also really good at puzzles too.

I got Evelyn out of her high chair and found puffs stuck to her bum :). Mckenna thought it was pretty funny.

Cousins

It's so nice to live close to Devin and Deanna. They came to visit for the weekend. The girls thought it would be fun to TP Uncle Devin.
