Primary Program

I am determined to finish writing this Primary Program. Every year, I dread writing it. But once I get started, it really isn't too bad. It's just starting that is the hard part.

Good thing Mckenna's such a big helper in keeping Evelyn happy so I can work on it more.

Cuddle Bug

Brielle is the sweetest! If anyone is on the couch with a blanket, she will drop everything to join them.  We don't mind that at all! :)

Girls Night

Devin went on a campout this past weekend, so we girls had to have our own little party by going to DQ

 

When I was getting the girls ready for bed, Evelyn disappeared while we were reading scriptures. We soon found her underneath Brielle's bed. She's a little roller!

As a side note, canning season has begun! We ran into some free apples so we had to make some applesauce. We also had to dehydrate some. Fall is here!

Solids

Man, my babies are growing up on me! Evelyn is now old enough to eat solids. You can tell exactly what she is thinking just by her facial expressions.

She wasn't so sure, but once she had a few bites, she started grabbing the spoon and shoving it in her mouth. And she has loved food ever since.

First Day of Kindergarten

Mckenna started Kindergarten this year. She was so excited! (So, funny story... Mckenna went to the dentist the morning of her first day of school. When it was time for school, her cheek was still numb. So all of our pictures of her on the actual first day of school are a little funny. So, we took some more pictures on the second day of school)

That backpack looks huge on her!

We made some fruit leather and it was done just in time for her after school snack.

Thumb Sucker

We took Brielle to the dentist and he suggested that we stop the thumb sucking as soon as possible... Brielle isn't too happy about it. So, we told Brielle we got her a new special nail polish...

So far, it's working and she actually requests to have it put on. :)

Memorial Day

We went to the cabin for Memorial Day. It's always fun to go up there. The girls have really gotten into 4 wheeling this year. They especially like going up and down hills. It's like their own personal roller coaster. It's always fun to go up to the cabin to spend time with family.

 

Great Grandma Collins (Arlene) was able to come too.  That's who Evelyn was named after. It was nice for them to finally meet eachother.

We love our grandparents!!
