We went to the Easter egg hunt downtown again this year. The girls had so much fun.

Matching Easter dresses. Mckenna was begging me for a dress like this for months. Little did she know, the dress was already made, just waiting for Easter to come.

Home

Here are pictures of the first few days at home. It took a bit for Brielle to warm up to Evelyn, but Mckenna was a natural. So, we have a lot of pictures of Mckenna holding Evelyn and not many of Brielle.

We really enjoyed all of the meals brought by friends. The girls especially loved getting their own cakes for dessert.

Evelyn

Evelyn finally joined our family... 6 days late! I thought I was going to go crazy! I did 5 miles at the gym the day before my due date, and it still didn't do anything. We went on tons of long hilly walks, but I'm convinced that babies come when they are ready. I started contracting consistently and frequently at 2am April 8. We went to the hospital at about 6am. Evelyn was born at 5:10pm. My labors with Mckenna and Brielle were 17 hours long each, so this was actually my shortest labor at about 15 hours. The girls were quite excited that she was finally here! They had been just as impatient as I was waiting for her to come.

My wonderful mom came to help us. I really don't know what I would do without her!!! Especially after I have a baby. She is the best at entertaining the older girls so I can focus on the baby.  We sure love her!!!

Evelyn didn't have a name for the first 12ish hours. I'm not sure if it's because she is our 3rd girl or what, but her name was a lot trickier to decide on.

We love our silly dad! He is the best at making all of us laugh. Brielle loves to cuddle with him on the couch. If anyone is laying or sitting down, Brielle is right there to cuddle.

Cousins

Mckenna loves that she has a shirt that matches her cousin, Elyse's. She was excited that they were matching for a day.

Happy Birthday, Dr Seuss!

We love celebrating Dr Seuss' birthday. We made Cat in the Hat sandwiches

and a few other snacks that I forgot to take a picture of. :)  These girls love books, especially Dr Seuss books. So, we read only Dr Seuss books every day that week.
