Inside Fun
I love these cheeks!! You have probably heard that it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Well, I think that for Brielle it is the opposite haha. I think her chubby cheeks have been kissed more than anybody's cheeks! I just can't stop kissing them!
We have been doing lots of fun things inside since it is cold outside.

December

Brielle loves baby food!
We went to 2 gingerbread house parties this year
This was our first Christmas not being with our families in Idaho. I'm not gonna lie, I got homesick. But, it was nice to have our own Christmas and start some family traditions.
We were all very spoiled and got lots of gifts. Mckenna got a new scooter from Santa. It was so warm that she even got to ride it outside.
Santa knows Devin well and every year he puts Chapstick in Devin's stocking. Devin was thrilled and as surprised as ever! :)
The day after Christmas, I had to have my wisdom teeth out! It was no fun. That was the only break that Devin had and they had to come out now... so you do what you have to do! Here's a picture the day after. I didn't get very swollen, but man did they hurt!
The same day I got my wisdom teeth out, our family was struck with the stomach flu! Poor Devin had to take care of me with my teeth and Mckenna who was throwing up. That night I started puking, I was ready to die right then haha. But mine didn't last too long. Devin never got it which is a miracle because he was taking care of all of us sickies!

In November, Mckenna turned 3! She loves the book Pinkalicious. So, she had a "Pinkalicious" Birthday Party. We made pink cupcakes just like the book. We had some friends over and we read the book and ate pink food. Mckenna was in heaven!
We spent Thanksgiving with some friends here in Iowa. It was in the high 60's on Thanksgiving, so we played at the park for a little bit before dinner.
I have to include this pictures for the sake of documenting :). Every year when we put up our Christmas decorations, Devin puts these stockings on and does a little dance haha. This year, I actually made new stockings for our family, but I couldn't bear to get rid of these ones. I don't think Christmas would be Christmas without Devin's stocking dance. haha

In October, Aunt T came to visit!!! We had so much fun with her! We took her to our favorite pumpkin patch.

For our branch Trunk or Treat, our family dressed up as a homeless family. We got a lot of laughs :)
In October, we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it has already been that long. We decided that our anniversary and Christmas present to each other this year would be our new camera... more on that to come :).
September
Ok, so I am one of those really annoying people that has to blog everything... even if it was months ago haha :). So, I'm going to update what we have been doing the last few months. It shouldn't take too long because our camera broke back in September so we weren't able to get many pictures until we got our new camera in December.
In September, we had Brielle's blessing. So many family members were able to come and we were so grateful to have every single one of them there. We love our families and are grateful for their support.
We went to Gray's Lake and rented pedal boats for an afternoon. It was a good workout!

New Baby
We got a new baby!! You are probably thinking, "You just had a baby!" Well I did. But this baby is a different kind of baby... a DSLR Camera :). We have been wanting to get into photography for a long time now. With our kids getting bigger, we have realized that these moments don't last forever. So we want to capture them with a nice camera. We spent about 4 months deciding which camera would be the perfect one and waiting for a killer deal. We finally found one, and just in time to go under the Christmas tree. It has been so fun to experiment with our new camera and we have learned a lot already, but there is always tons more to learn. Hopefully this will help me be more motivated to blog more. But, for now, don't judge my photography skills! :) Pictures are coming! I promise!
